The CCIM Miami District participated in the Miami Children's Hospital 5K Run / Walk. The team was 40 strong included the Board of Directors, CCIM Designees & Candidates, volunteers and friends of CCIM.
The MCHF5K is designed to increase awareness of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and its pediatric sub-specialties. The CCIM Miami Team came in 25th of 144 teams in fundraising for the event.

President Frank Melo Rodriguez headed up a team including 2nd place finisher Brian Sharkey of Pinecrest, FL with a time of 17:15 or a 5:33 minute per mile pace.
